Travis Coleman

Travis Coleman is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana attending St. Augustine High School. He has built a reputation as one of the leading professional baseball and athletic development instructors in the country. He is a former 4 year college baseball player for Auburn University and was the team captain in 2007. Travis was the Associate Scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers for Mississippi and Alabama from 2012-2014. In 2015, he serves as the Midwest Region Scouting Supervisor for the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau. Travis is currently serving as the Southern Scouting Supervisor for the Houston Astros. He also serves as the Southeast Regional Director for USA baseball and is on the East Coast Pro selection committee. Travis is the Co-Owner of The Prospect Lab (TPL), one of the nation’s leading high school level summer and fall baseball programs. As founder and CEO of Pro Elite Sports Academy, Travis has over 12 years of player development experience and has built an impressive list of clients including some of the top young prospects in baseball today.

 

Jeremy Brown

Jeremy Brown is a graduate of Hueytown High School in Hueytown, Alabama. He played for the University of Alabama baseball team from 1999-2002. At Alabama, he won the Johnny Bench Award as the nation’s top collegiate catcher. Jeremy was selected in the 2002 MLB Draft in the 1 st round (35 th selection) by the Oakland Athletics. He is most remembered for a game in 2002 where he, planning for a triple, slipped and fell on first base, and while scrambling to get back to the base, was notified that he in fact hit a homerun. The homerun was reenacted in the film Moneyball.

 

Ryan Garrett

Ryan Garrett is a former catcher for the Lawson State CC baseball team. Ryan is one of the first captains of Gulf Coast Pro Elite teams before it became TPL. He is currently a student at Jeff State working towards a degree in exercise and nutrition science with a concentration in nutrition and wellness/dietetics.

 

Mike Battle

Mike Battle is a graduate of Hueytown High School and had a great high school baseball career for the Hueytown High School baseball team. Mike also played short stop and pitched for Snead State JC. He is currently playing short stop for Falkner University and is looking to finish his degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Exercise Science. Mike was also one of the first captains for Gulf Coast Pro Elite.

 

Logan Nix

Logan Nix is a graduate of Walker High School in Jasper, Alabama and lettered 5 years in baseball. Logan attended Marion Military Institute where he was a 2 year starter for the baseball team and graduating with an Associates of Science. Logan is currently playing
baseball for Auburn University of Montgomery (AUM) and majoring in Exercise Science Pre PT. Logan is one of the original members of Gulf Coast Pro Elite team and former team captain.

 

Josh Kervin

Josh Kervin is a graduate of Shelby Academy where he played baseball and won a state championship there. Josh attended the University of Montevallo where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

 

Thomas Lowery

Thomas Lowery is a graduate of Pelham High School in Pelham, Alabama. Thomas played for baseball for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2014-2017. Thomas is one the most historic pitchers in UAB history. Ranks second in career relief appearances (73) and saves (17), third in wins (19), ERA (3.37), and pitching appearances (88), fourth in strikeouts (210), and ninth in innings pitched (232.1). He also ranks 15 th in Conference USA history for career appearances. Thomas was an undrafted free agent with the Houston Astros.

 

Josh Cagle

Josh Cagle graduated from Tuscaloosa Academy in 2008. Josh pitched for Stillman College from 2009-2012 winning 3 SIAC conference championships and he was conference pitcher of the year twice during his tenure there. In 2013, Josh became the pitching coach at Stillman where they won another SIAC championship and also coaching the conference starting pitcher of the year and the conference relief pitcher of the year. From 2014-2017, Josh was the pitching coach at Lawson State CC in that time he coached 6 Division I pitchers, 3 All-Conference pitchers, and 1 All-Region pitcher. During his time at Lawson State they set records in Wins, ERA, and strikeouts.

 

Andrew Morris

Andrew Morris is a graduate of Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama. Andrew went on to play baseball at Gulf Coast CC under Coach Mike Kandler. Andrew was drafted in the 16 th round of the 2010 MLB Draft and the 44 th round of the 2009 MLB Draft, both by Milwaukee Brewers. He was the Panhandle Conference pitcher of the year in 2009 and 2010, Florida JUCO pitcher of the year in 2010, JUCO All American in 2009 and 2010. He went 22-2 with a 3.32 ERA and 237 strikeouts during his two year stint. He also started game 1 for JUCO Team USA in Europe against the Netherlands. Andrew played his junior year at Auburn University where he appeared in 13 games and recorded a 2-4 record. He finished his college career at Auburn University of Montgomery where he appeared in 18 games and recorded a 5-4 record. He also received a degree in Business Management there. Andrew played one season of independent pro ball with the Traverse City Beach Bums in Travers City, MI.

 

Josh Moore

Josh Moore graduated from Jess Lanier High School in Bessemer, Alabama. Josh played baseball for Lawson State CC in 2007. He continued his baseball career at Miles College from 2008-2011 where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Josh has coached middle school baseball and football for Bessemer City Middle School from 2013-2017. He is currently the Communications Director for The Prospect Lab (TPL).

 

Geno Reasor

Geno Reasor is the strength coach for the TPL Birmingham area. He is a certified speed agility and personal trainer. Geno graduated from the University of Montevallo. He has over 20 years of experience and a pass client list that includes NFL players like Marcel Darius, Mark Ingram, and Trent Richardson. He is based in Birmingham, Alabama.

 

Raphael Trinidad

Raphael Trinidad is from New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Alabama after Hurricane Katrina. He is a graduate of Homewood High School in 2012 and attended Shelton State CC where he studied Kinesiology. He also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Raphael is currently a Health coach and personal trainer at the Shades Valley YMCA.
